Uppingham School has an exciting opportunity for a talented accompanist and piano teacher to join our musical team and contribute to the wider school boarding community.
You will assist the Head of Keyboard in performing in and accompanying concerts, competitions, performance platforms, examinations and internal auditions as required. You will also deliver one-to-one piano lessons, prepare students for concerts, competitions, scholarships, and auditions, and accompany pupils in their instrumental/singing lessons.
Additional responsibilities will include accompanying ensembles and performing as a soloist in recitals and chamber music concerts, as well as coaching chamber ensembles as required.
The role will be offered for the academic year from September 2025 – 33 weeks in total. The role would ideally suit a recent conservatoire graduate and provide a supportive environment in which to develop your skills as a performer, teacher, and coach.
