The Role
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and stimulating activities for nursery-aged children.
* Work closely with children to support their individual learning needs, encouraging their personal and social development.
* Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of the nursery curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Help to create a nurturing and safe learning environment where children feel happy and motivated.
* Observe and assess children’s progress, supporting their development and helping to meet individual targets.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Have a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their learning and development.
* Hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).
* Have experience working in an early years or nursery setting (desirable but not essential).
* Be proactive, compassionate, and enthusiastic, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
* Have good communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the children and the team.
