Account Executive - Enterprise New Business Job Description Responsible for acquiring new logos in the Kubernetes management and Linux operating system to grow SUSE market share in UK Enterprise organisations. You will work with a virtual team which includes Sales Development Representatives, and Pre-Sales Solution Architects to demonstrate the value of SUSE’s Linux, Kubernetes Management, Observability, and Security stack to new customers – many of whom may already use competing technology. Responsibilities: Owns and co-ordinates a territory plan for winning new logos. Manages the engagement with a broad range of experts and resources to bring the best experience to the customer. Works with partners and system integrators to build value cases for new technology wins or displacement of existing technology. Focusses on major Enterprise logos with significant IT spend. Accurately maintains a quarter-by-quarter sales forecast in accordance with MEDDPICC. Education and Experience Required: Account management experience in Enterprise accounts required. Experience in Linux, Kubernetes, Observability, and container security. Ability to self-start and identify target organisations either through existing network or publicly available intelligence. Channel experience in working with both transactional resellers and systems integrators. Knowledge and Skills: Solid foundation of IT and infrastructure domain knowledge with ability to connect customer business initiatives with appropriate technology. Knowledge of the Linux and Kubernetes market. Practical knowledge of using MEDDPICC or similar to qualify to a high standard. Negotiation skills and ability to frame the value proposition for the customer. Ability to utilize resources effectively in or order to pursue revenue generating opportunities.
