Our Contract Services team has over 140 employees located in our offices or seconded within client teams across the UK. We deliver services to a range of public and private sector clients with a focus in central and local government, defence, transport, power, and utilities.
Job Description
Due to increased workload and securing new clients across the Infrastructure and Real Estate sectors, Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for an Associate Director to join our growing Contract Services division in our UK offices.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

* Create new and innovative service offerings to the Market,
* Lead and develop an outstanding team of specialist procurement and other consultants.
Main Expectations:
* Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients.
* Lead and manage end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes.
* Lead and support the development of the procurement services provided by Turner & Townsend.
* Lead and develop a team to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
* Manage client relationships and related commission outputs and deliverables.
* Lead business development and marketing of the Contract Services team's service proposition.
* Lead on bid preparation and proposal documentation.
* Support the delivery of both team and wider business targets.
Qualifications
To deliver for our clients, we are looking for a mixture of the following:
* Experience in and/or knowledge of regulated procurement, particularly Public Contract Regulations 2015.
* Leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes for Public and Private sector clients.
* A strong background in tender preparation, development, and management ideally including negotiation.
* Commission, client relationship, and people management.
* Experience of developing and using various forms of contracts with a focus on NEC and JCT.
* Cross-sector experience with a strong public procurement background is highly desirable.
* Business generation including bid development.
* Preferably possess a degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law, or procurement.
* Preferably possess experience working in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail, etc.) sectors.
* (SC) Security Clearance - currently valid or could be reinstated.

* Ability to lead and develop key strategies and documentation for major procurement projects.
* Able to manage and supervise the delivery of others for a successful outcome.
* Able to build strong, professional client relationships and proactively identify and resolve client's issues.
* Excellent communication skills, adaptable, with a determination to succeed.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
* Excellent attention to detail.
