Come and join our dynamic team of paediatric occupational therapists and support staff. We have an opportunity for an experienced paediatric occupational therapist to join our team as a Band 6 for 30 hours per week.
We are based at Breightmet Children's Centre and work closely with the multidisciplinary team as well as education, housing and social care.
We are a friendly and supportive team who strive to provide timely and responsive assessment and intervention to a range of service users, including developmental input for pre-school children, neonates, mainstream and special schools. We also assess for minor and major home adaptations for the children and the families of Bolton.
We are looking for a dedicated and flexible individual, with paediatric experience, and some knowledge of home adaptation interventions. The successful candidate will work autonomously to manage a diverse and complex caseload, with good support from formal and peer supervision.
A Band 5 to band 6 progression post would be considered.
Assessment and input of:
• motor development and skill
• home safety needs
• functional skills
• maintaining postural management
• moving and handling
• recommendation for major adaptation, as part of the Disabled Facilities Grant process
