Qualifications
5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent - Essential

Experience/Knowledge:
* Knowledge of the issues related to working with children who reside in areas of high socio-economic deprivation - Essential
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection issues and procedures - Essential
* Understanding of ‘Early Help’ strategy, policies, and protocols - Essential
Personal Attributes:
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, parents, and students - Desirable
* Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential student information - Desirable
* Experience of supporting the social, emotional, and educational development of students - Desirable
* Ability to manage pupil behaviour and create a safe environment - Desirable
* Pastoral experience - Essential
* Ability to encourage students in developing self-esteem and respect for others - Essential
