The Office Administrator is one of the first points of contact for face to face or phone queries from clients, colleagues, and other visitors to the Warwick office.
The most common and important responsibilities of the role are:
* Greeting all visitors to the office providing an excellent and professional service.
* Dealing with post and other correspondence that comes into the office.
* Arranging internal and external meetings (including scheduling room bookings and organising refreshments)
* Completing general administrative tasks for the office teams.
You will also receive training to help handle basic queries from our clients and to better understand the investment options we provide.
This is a client-facing role, with client queries coming in via phone, post, and email so you will need to be a confident communicator, who can handle these queries clearly and sensitively.
We work in a regulated industry, so you will need a high attention to detail to ensure that our records are kept up to date and avoid any possible regulatory breaches.
Whilst no previous industry experience is required, you would benefit from a good awareness and knowledge of our industry and the regulatory environment we work in.
This role provides essential support to the office on a daily basis. As a result, we would need the successful candidate to work from the office full time and hybrid working would not be available.
Further specific details about the role can be found in the job description attached to this advert.
What we’re looking for
* Excellent customer service & communication skills.
* Confident ability to learn new systems and processes.
* Proven organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to consistently complete administrative tasks to a high level of accuracy.
* Awareness of financial services and FCA regulations.
What does the future look like?
Once you are settled into the role, you will be able to take on more responsibility within the office, including taking on more complex queries and learning more about how the rest of the team functions.
Redmayne Bentley provides support for colleagues to achieve industry standard CISI qualifications, if that is something they wish to do.
Typically, our administrators would start on the Level 3 Investment Operations Certificate, which provides them with a deep understanding of our industry, FCA regulations and how our firm operates. This can then act as a pathway to further qualifications, such as the Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma.
