About The Role
As a graphic designer for WNU, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling work that reinforces our brand ethos and enhances the customer experience. From designing email campaigns and seasonal look books to creating in-store signage and advertising materials, your work will play a key role in supporting both our digital and physical presence. You will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all design work aligns with the brand visual identity, maintain consistency and drive customer engagement across all touchpoints. Working across digital and print mediums is essential.
1. Design and build email newsletters, ensuring the content is refreshing and on brand, whilst promoting high stock / new products.
2. Design assets for the website.
3. Design seasonal catalogues; reporting into Marketing Manager, liaising with the copywriter and working with the Shoot team for assets.
4. Build and review brand presentations and decks for internal and external use.
5. Design assets for paid marketing; inclusive of video editing, gifs, static imagery, copy overlay, etc.
6. Design printed collateral, including in-store and event materials; invites, window vinyls. Reporting into Head of Retail and Marketing Manager.
7. Design packaging and other brand-related print materials; store shopping bags, sample sale bags, boxes, swing tags.
8. Create assets for social channels.
9. Create assets to support the Press team’s efforts including seasonal look books, gifting look books, invites, press releases, face sheets.
10. Organise imagery and digital assets on company server.
11. Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscapes and marketing trends.
12. Work with the Digital Marketing and Brand teams to ensure consistency and alignment of designs across all customer touchpoints.
Essential Skills And Requirements
To be considered for the role of Graphic Designer, the successful candidate must:
1. 2+ years’ experience in a graphic design-related role, preferably within fashion.
2. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
3. Strong understanding of typography, layout, and colour theory.
4. Experience in image retouching and editing.
5. Experience with video editing.
6. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Experience with motion graphics or video editing (desirable).
9. Familiarity with website design, Shopify, and Klaviyo (desirable).
