Your new company
You will be working with a world-leading dental manufacturing company based in the West Midlands. The business is experiencing a period of growth and require an Operations Manager to come on board and oversee the warehouse and distribution functions and help develop strategy along with the executive team.
Your new role
In this role you will be a proactive member of the UK Executive team, which incorporates the daily management of the business. You will oversee the day-to-day operation within the warehouse, logistics and technical functions. The position will report to the General Manager and will have up to 5 direct reports. As well as the warehouse operation, this role will also cover IT infrastructure, Health & Safety, Facilities Management and Continuous Improvement. It is essential that the successful candidate continues the culture of people development in a fast-paced, forward-thinking SME, focused on delivering a superior customer experience.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a well-versed Operations manager with a hands-on and collaborative approach to your work. You will be expected to provide strategic plans and ideas to aid business growth and drive the performance of your team. You will need working knowledge of 9001:2008, 14001 and 45001 standards, NEBOSH or IOSH certification, experience in stock and facilities management as well as 5+ years of leadership experience within a SME.
What you’ll get in return
In this role you will receive a permanent contract alongside an annual salary of £55,000- £60,000 DOE. A car allowance and amazing benefits including pension, healthcare, life assurance and company profit share. The working arrangements will be Monday-Friday – 8:30am to 5pm on site.
