Role & Responsibilities
The Airworthiness Planning & Records Administrator is a key role within RVL Aviation Limited, responsible for maintaining and managing the technical records and supporting the maintenance planning processes for the RVL fleet. This role ensures that all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with regulatory and company requirements to guarantee continued airworthiness and operational readiness.
Flight Data Entry & Log Maintenance
* Record daily aircraft flight times, including any defects and rectification actions, with high accuracy.
* Ensure continuous accuracy of aircraft times within the technical logs and logbooks to maintain precise operational records.
Technical Defect Processing
* Process aircraft technical defects with high levels of accuracy to ensure reliability data is correctly represented and accessible.
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
* Support the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities by tracking compliance dates for inspections, checks, and modifications.
* Production, Issue and Management of work packs & task cards in accordance with the approved maintenance program.
* Coordinate with the Continued Airworthiness and Maintenance teams to ensure planned maintenance aligns with fleet scheduling needs.
Coordination with Maintenance Repair Organisations (MROs)
* Liaise with Part 145 MROs to ensure completed maintenance records are returned within contracted timescales.
* Collaborate with maintenance planning to report any discrepancies within the aircraft logbooks that could impact scheduled maintenance.
Maintenance Records Management
* Process maintenance Work Cards and Packs into computer-based programmes (e.g., OASES, CAMP), ensuring records are current, compliant, and accessible.
* Generate utilisation reports as necessary to support fleet monitoring and operational planning.
Logbook & Compliance Updates
* Update aircraft and engine logbooks with flight hours and maintenance summaries, including all recorded Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Modifications, and Repairs.
* Audit post-maintenance paperwork, technical log pages, and logbook entries to ensure content accuracy and completion.
Document Scanning & Archiving
* Scan completed paperwork and securely archive physical records to maintain an organised and accessible historical database.
Qualifications & Role requirements
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing maintenance records.
* Highly organised, with the ability to efficiently manage large volumes of data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
* Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all record-keeping responsibilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
* Candidates must hold a full, clean driving licence, be eligible to work and reside in the UK, and possess a valid passport.
Desirable
* Previous experience in processing technical records/data within a Part-145 or Part-CAMO environment.
* Experience with Textron (Beechcraft), Reims (ASI Aviation), and P&WC products.
* Proficiency in using aircraft maintenance management software (e.g., OASES, CAMP, AMOS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with record-keeping platforms and document management systems is also highly desirable.
