Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills and be proficient in various software applications. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to management and staff, and maintaining efficient administrative processes.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the finance and operations team.
* Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
* Maintain organised filing systems electronically to facilitate easy access to information.
* Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or directing calls as necessary.
* Prepare documents and reports as required by management.
* Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve overall efficiency.
* Perform other clerical duties as assigned to support the daily operations of the office.
Requirements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records is preferred.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is desirable but not essential.
