Clinical Psychologist
Job Location: Edinburgh, UK (Onsite).
Job Schedule: 1 day per week.
Job Type: 1000 Contract.
Pay Range: Starting at £40 per hour, actual rate may vary depending on the candidate's experience, skills, education, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
Full Description:
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and coaching to a corporate health center. The psychologist will focus on defining and assessing neurodivergent conditions, developing counseling plans, and implementing workplace accommodations, as well as providing coaching to managers to help them work more effectively with these employees.
Responsibilities:
1. Using the appropriate diagnostic assessments or tests, diagnoses and develops treatment plans for clients experiencing psychological, emotional, or behavioral problems.
2. Assessing neurodivergent conditions and creating personalized counseling plans and therapies individually and/or in a group setting.
3. Help create a workplace accommodation plan with HR.
4. Coach managers and provide tools and skills to better support employees with special needs. Make external referrals and coordinate care with other treatment team members, agencies, and health professionals as necessary.
5. Maintain appropriate documentation of all client contacts, consultations with other professionals, and document any changes to the treatment plan. Intervene when appropriate in response to changes.
Requirements:
1. BPS-accredited Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
2. Must be GBC eligible.
3. Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
4. Significant experience working with neurodivergent conditions.
5. Experience working in a corporate environment and coaching managers.
6. Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, EMR systems.
7. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
8. Must be able to reliably commute to Edinburgh, UK.
