We are seeking a committed individual to join us as a Deputy Manager in the Community Led Support Team 2 (CLS2) within Adult Social Care Services. CLS Team 2 is an integrated team of social care practitioners, covering the Aveley, South Ockendon and Purfleet areas of Thurrock.
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the CLS 2 Integrated Team within the Adults and Health Directorate of the Council.
As Deputy Manager, your main job purpose is:
* To safeguard vulnerable adults.
* To provide high quality, research-based casework service to all Adult Social Care service users and hold cases that consist mainly of the most complex situations.
* To offer consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working to colleagues within the team, Adult Social Care and with Health partners.
* To line manage and supervise staff in support of the Operational Lead in the smooth running of operations within the team.
* To promote independent living where safe to do so.
* To comply with and promote legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures.
