An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Clerk to join us to place stock orders, for the Renal Department, including our Dialysis Units and Renal Ward.
Arranging for deliveries of stock to patients. Goods in, stock rotation, receipt of dialysis consumables and stock takes.
Duties will also include close monitoring of stock, to ensure levels are safely maintained.
This is 37.5 hours post, to be worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
The duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Stock ordering, receipt and distribution for the whole of the Renal Department, including our ward and satellite Kidney Care Centre's. Duties will include close monitoring of stock levels, placing orders, arranging deliveries of stock to patients, goods in, stock rotation, receipt of dialysis consumables and fluids and undertaking stock takes when required.
• You will also be required to support our specialist nursing teams with stock ordering and arranging delivery of stock to patients.
• Responsible of safe use of equipment in own area. There is some heavy lifting and manual handling involved in this role.
• Provide general, non-clinical advice, information and guidance, directly to patients, clients, relatives and carers. To ensure adequate stock is maintained.
