An opportunity has arisen within a clients Customer Support & Services (CSS) organisation for a Through Life Engineer to take charge of work packages associated with influencing product design for support and for developing cost-effective support solutions for our global customers.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working. Typically this role will require 1-2 days on site per week, with temporary deviations from this to be agreed with your Line Manager.
The opportunity:
In this role, you will be part of an integrated project team during the product design and development phase, utilizing your expertise in through-life support, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills, to meet customer support requirements.
Reporting to the Project Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Manager, you will be the key focus within the project for advancing design-for-support goals and leveraging both new and existing technologies to enhance through-life support.
You will collaborate closely with various functions, including Reliability, Human Factors, Training, and Technical Authors, to ensure the success of the project.
What we're looking for from you:
* You must have a sound knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) standards, with an understanding of the customer environment, structure and processes.
* Strong interpersonal and highly developed verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external partners.
* An experienced engineer with a track record in the application of Supportability Engineering techniques such as Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) anaysis.
