This is a brand-new role creation due to significant growth and recent acquisitions, an exciting time to join a forward-thinking brand. Your new role: Work closely with the Chief Procurement Officer to identify and implement process enhancements at every opportunity. Continuously adapt and improve the global procurement process to support the businesses growing complexity and scale. Demonstrate how process improvements have directly increased productivity, with measurable outcomes being a key performance indicator. Identify and address global process inefficiencies, creating more space for high-value activities within the procurement team. Work closely with the Demand Planning to identify and implement opportunities for enhancing customer product fulfilment. Evaluate existing data sources to provide new insights and perspectives that can inform better allocation of procurement activities. Create a comprehensive set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) measures that accurately reflect the impact and success of the tactical procurement workstream. Develop a clear roadmap that positions Procurement as a key stakeholder in non-inventory-related decisions, outlining the rationale and benefits of this expanded role. Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications: Extensive experience in a complex procurement environment, preferably within the aerospace industry and ideally with exposure to the fastener supply chain. Familiarity with AS9120 is desirable, though not essential. Proven ability to navigate and manage sensitive supply chains with a strong sense of commercial impact. Demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and execute organisational development and cultural change at various scales over time. Successful track record of leading multi-cultural global teams, fostering collaboration and performance across diverse regions. Proven experience in designing and implementing global process changes that impact multiple stakeholders, driving efficiency and alignment across the organisation. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manipulate and interpret data to inform decisions.
