We are looking for a Loadmasterto join our busy Operations department. Reporting to the Head of Ground Operations, and in turn the Operations Director, the Loadmaster is responsible to provide flight supervision, oversight and co-ordination as follows: - Supervise and oversee pre and post flight Ground Handling contracted services. Ensure the Ground Handling agent is fully prepared before the operation and ensure that adequate supervision and management is provided during all ground handling operations. Working with the contracted Ground Handler to facilitate the provision of accurate weights in a timely manner and ensure they are shared with Centralised Load Control (CLC) and/or the Aircraft Commander within agreed time frames. In conjunction with Centralised Load Control (CLC) and/or the Aircraft Commander, assist with load planning to ensure the aircraft is correctly planned in accordance with Titan Airways standard operating procedures for the aircraft type. Supervise safe loading and unloading of bulk and/or unitised payload (baggage, cargo or mail), while considering the ground stability of the aircraft. To oversee loading in accordance with the Load Instruction Report (LIR) and provide loading confirmation to Centralised Load Control (CLC) and/or the Aircraft Commander. Ensure that all Dangerous Goods are accounted for and correctly documented, ensuring the accurate creation and filing of a NOTOC for every flight. Receive or deliver briefings to the Aircraft Commander regarding information pertinent to loading, unloading, weight & balance and any other aspects of ground handling services. Report to the Aircraft Commander and/or Titan Airways Operations any irregularities regarding handling, load planning or any other services requested by Titan Airways. Complete and submit Ramp Inspection Reports relating to aircraft arrivals and/or departures. Undertake Ground Operations Coordinator duties as part of passenger operations where required. The following requirements are essential for this role: 3 years working in a cargo ground handling-based role, with experience of both narrow and wide body aircraft. Ability to travel extensively; this role will require the successful candidate to operate on a flying roster with most of their working time spent away from home. Ability to qualify and hold a US crew visa. Computer literate and able to use technology to aid in their everyday role. Additional desirable requirements: Previously acted in the capacity of Loadmaster, Flight Manager or Dispatcher. Good working knowledge of the IATA IGOM and IATA IOSA standards.
