Technical Support Engineer
Salary up to £32,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits
CPS Group UK is excited to partner with an award-winning technology company that is going through a period of growth. They are looking to recruit a new Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team.
In this role, you will provide proactive technical support across multiple channels, including phone, chat, and email. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have experience supporting Windows applications in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Log and manage incidents and service requests, ensuring accurate documentation and contributing to first-line root cause analysis
* Provide technical support for AV systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues
* Develop a foundational understanding of key technologies, including network devices, operating systems, Windows and Mac hardware, and VPN systems
* Assist with routine IT system administration
* Deliver remote technical support, with occasional on-site visits, including global travel when required
Candidate Skills/Experience:
* Prior experience in a similar IT support position
* Proficiency in Windows applications, as well as iOS and Android testing
* Hands-on experience with hardware assembly and configuration
* Previous experience with TV and AV conference systems
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in both technical and non-technical terms to colleagues and customers
* Strong background in delivering outstanding customer service
