Master Data Management (MDM) Data Operations Analyst
CDO is currently seeking a MDM Data Operations Analyst based out of our Manchester office.
The Chief Data Office is driving Fitch’s data transformation, aiming to deliver modern, scalable and trusted data solutions that make innovating and working smarter at Fitch easy. The MDM (Master Data Management) squad is responsible for improving data quality of Fitch Master data, increase automation of master data management leveraging 3rd party data providers and eliminating legacy master data solutions.

We’ll Count on You To:
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
* Data review and mastering based on 3rd-party data sources (Factset, Dun & Bradstreet, Bloomberg, GLEIF).
* Delivery against agreed SLA deadlines based on workflows from the central MDM tool.
* Assist the MDM specialists team with Legal Entity and Security master data maintenance.
* Work with Team Supervisor to ensure data validation for key data domains across Master Data Management.
* Identify continuous improvements to data management support processes and procedures.
* Ensure data accuracy and coverage levels are adhered to, with robust supporting documentation.
* Support development of data definition standards in collaboration with broader MDM team.
What You Need to Have:
The role requires the following experience:
* Knowledge of Legal Entity and/or Security data (Bonds, Loans and Structured Products).
* Basic knowledge of databases and how they work.
* Prior experience of working with a Master Data Management tool (Informatica) and/or a CRM system (Salesforce) as a user is highly desired.
* Excellent administration and communication skills, with a highly organized and methodical approach to work.
* Must be able to communicate in fluent English.

In addition, the following skill sets are desirable for this role:
* Knowledge of third-party data management software (Informatica or similar) and third-party data sources such as Factset, Dun & Bradstreet, and Exchange data e.g. ICE is highly desirable.
* A self-starter who can pick up new processes quickly, accurately and work in a team.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, balancing multiple tasks, and prioritizing effectively.
* Ability to analyze, interpret and manipulate data, with a can-do attitude to problems.
* Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel.
