Product Designer: Design System & Consumer Apps

What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Product Designer within our vehicle payments division, this is a contract position for at least 12 months. This position falls under our Consumer Vehicle Payments line of business and is located in either the London or Berlin office. In this role you will support and maintain our Mobile App Design System (Fluxus) as well as support on designing products and features for one of our consumer apps. This role is split 50-50 between Design System work and digital Product Design. We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer with a strong craft to join our mission to revolutionise the consumer vehicle payments landscape. You will report directly to Design Director and regularly collaborate with designers, engineers and product managers.

* Assigned workspace in the London or Berlin office
* Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
Design System
* Supporting, maintaining and developing our design system. This means crafting a beautiful, functional and easy to use designs that streamline development of Corpay’s mobile products.
* Collaborating with the Design Lead from other business (Plugsurfing) on the Design System governance and best practices.
* Developing and refine components for usability and accessibility.
* Guiding product teams on consistent design pattern usage.
* Having familiarity with tokens, variables, and best practices to develop scalable and unified components, you will help ensure the team speaks a consistent design language and contribute to the growth and refinement of our system.
* Knowing not only how to work in Figma, but how also improve Design & Development handover and implementation.
* Guiding 2 design system engineers on the implementation and help to manage hands-on engineering backlog.
Product Design
* Supporting the design and development of one of Corpay’s companies PayByPhone products and features.
* Creating intuitive user experiences aligned with business goals.
* Working across teams to craft solutions that benefit users and the company.
* Simplifying complex problems into clear, user-friendly designs.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong visual, UI, and interaction design skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Know how to work with Token Studio, Variables and multi-brand systems.
* Experience working within product teams to scale design systems and products.
* Proven track record in building and maintaining design systems at scale.
* Expertise in Figma and improving the Design & Development handover process.
* Ideally, 5+ years of experience in B2C and mobile apps design.
* Ideally, you hold a valid driver license since we’re building products for motorists and car owners.
