An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Workforce Planning Team as a Workforce Systems and Training Schedule Support officer. As part of the Workforce Systems Support Team, you will play a key role in maintaining and monitoring our workforce systems, including the rostering system. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that training schedules are accurately recorded, allowing staff to receive the necessary training while keeping our fire engines fully operational. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to process and manage complex workforce data efficiently. Responsibilities In this role, you will: accurately input and maintain comprehensive training schedules within the rostering system, ensuring all staff receive required training while maintaining operational cover monitor employee absences and vacancies to ensure training availability, while considering skills, rank, and fire engine type process and manage complex amendments to employee records with accuracy support wider Workforce Planning Team processes on systems such as UKG and Oracle, including tasks related to staff moves, leave, payments, and tickets. Experience and skills. Essential strong IT skills, with experience of using various software packages, including Excel the ability to handle and process large amounts of manual and computerised information with care and confidentiality exceptional attention to detail and accuracy excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable previous experience in staffing or rostering.
