An expanding main contractor is looking to recruit a Procurement Lead.
The main objective of the role is to develop and deliver a procurement and supply chain strategy across new rail frameworks.
Key Duties
* Help to create alliance procurement strategies, working alongside other Procurement Leads.
* Manage stakeholder engagement across newly won frameworks.
* Manage supply chain engagement and mobilisation across newly won frameworks.
* Identify and deliver leveraging and synergy benefits across live projects.
* Manage senior internal and alliance stakeholder procurement requirements.

Strategically responsible for two newly won rail frameworks.
Manage director level stakeholders across the company and alliance partners.
No initial team to manage, however this will happen over time.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years’ strategy procurement experience for a main infrastructure or construction contractor.
Must have experience of setting procurement strategies for large projects/frameworks or a business unit.
Ideally, you will currently be working as a Senior Procurement Manager, or an experienced Procurement Manager who is looking for progression.
NEC project experience and/or Category Management experience is highly desirable.
Previous hands-on subcontract procurement experience is also desirable.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at director level.
