Our client is a specialist asset data, document management and quality assurance/control provider who require an Engineer (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) to develop maintenance routines and systems data for clients throughout South Wales. This position is a hybrid role which will allow for home working together with occasional plant/site visits.
The role:
To develop data structures within Asset Data Management systems to represent real-world machines (Assets) and equipment to allow plant engineers and maintenance practitioners (technicians) to operate the plant to its full lifecycle potential. Work could cover anywhere from West Wales to Bristol and surrounding areas of Bristol.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and improve maintenance tasks, inclusive of Tasks Lists and Maintenance Strategies.
2. Review and interpret engineering information (such as dwgs, functional, and technical specifications) for the building of Asset Hierarchy.
3. Leverage simplified optimization approaches for optimizing maintenance plans for non-critical and low complexity critical equipment/systems while keeping with sound reliability principles.
4. Develop Maintenance Procedures.
5. Conduct equipment and Spares Assessments.
6. Identify/catalogue Spare Parts, consumables and assemble Bills of Materials including RCM studies, FMEAs, FMECAs, Criticality Analysis, and RCAs.
7. Provide Technical oversight and carry out Maintenance Data analysis and QA/QC.
8. Conduct RCFAs and apply other failure analysis techniques.
9. Carry out Site-based Work Management, Maintenance and Reliability assessments.
10. Develop technical reports, and conduct lessons learnt sessions.
11. Travel to client Sites and office locations.
12. Control of documenting, storage, archival and communication of technical data.
13. Coordinate the package of deliverables for handover to clients.
14. Lead change management and process implementation.
15. Deliver maintenance, reliability, and work management training.
16. Develop work schedules.
Requirements:
1. Educated to time served / HNC / Degree or equivalent level.
2. Strong Technical Writing skills.
3. Strong Excel skills.
4. Ability and experience in the delivery of technician training and competency management.
5. Capable of developing Technical Maintenance Methodologies for Electrical equipment.
6. Knowledge of reliability and maintenance processes including Criticality Assessments, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centred Maintenance Studies.
7. Experience in the execution and supervision of maintenance and inspection.
8. Strong functional and technical knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP, Maximo, and others and Master Data Objects, electrical isolations.
9. Strong analytical skills. Data analytics, database, and spreadsheet manipulation skills.
10. Drivers License.
