Charity Administration Officer Location: Newry, Northern Ireland Reports to: Charity Operations Manager Our client is a well-known respected charity, based in Newry, and are seeking to recruit an empathetic and highly organized Charity Admin Officer. This role is crucial in supporting the Trusts operations, from managing correspondence to assisting with operations and communication between service users, donors, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Charity Operations Manager and Trustees. Effectively manage incoming correspondence and maintain accurate records. Assist in all operational functions, database management, and coordination with international partners. Support financial and fundraising activities, including donation processing and event assistance. Ensure good governance and compliance with Data Protection laws and maintain confidentiality. Essential Experience & Skills: Proven administrative experience, preferably in a charity or nonprofit setting. Strong organizational, communication, and IT skills (Microsoft Office including Excel, database management). High levels of empathy and discretion when handling sensitive information are essential.
