Job Overview
The Council is dedicated to providing a high quality financial support service and has created two new career graded senior finance officer roles. We are looking to recruit suitably qualified, enthusiastic and motivated individuals with relevant experience to provide a range of professional Financial Services functions, including leading on different service areas and projects. This involves line management of other Finance staff and supporting the Financial Services Management Team in the delivery of work programmes.
The roles will be working alongside either the Finance Manager responsible for Housing Services or Children Services. Knowledge of these services is not necessary as full training will be provided.
If you are an experienced finance officer looking for more challenging work and/or wanting to have the opportunity to be supported with your studies towards gaining a qualification as a Chartered Member of a CCAB body, then this is the job for you. The role offers paid study leave and financial support for your course and exam fees.
If you are interested in these roles, you must have an AAT level 4 qualification or equivalent with extensive experience in a relevant finance-related field. This will be a rewarding role for the right candidate.
