About The Role Morrison Energy Services At Morrison Energy Services, were enabling the energy essential to support our lives. This role is an Apprenticeship Programme within our National Grid contract in South Wales and the South West of England.Our business is centred upon the provision, replacement, repair and maintenance of utility network infrastructure. The Apprenticeship Programme provides the opportunity for individuals to become fully trained and qualified 'craft' persons on the132kV to 400kV transmission network. Electrical fitting activities on High Voltage switch gear, transformers and associated equipment Installation of control and protection equipment Installation of Earthing Systems Installation of outdoor equipment such as Bus Bar, Disconnectors and Switchgear Maintenance of High Voltage equipment Fault Finding on Low and High Voltage equipment Receiving High Voltage documents What youll bring; Driving Licence : Full licence and own car required Education : GCSEs in Mathematics and English (grades A-C or 9-5) Age : Must be 18 due to health & safety policy Interest : Electronics, electricity, or engineering Teamwork : Ability to work well in a team Manual Dexterity : Skilled with hand tools Physical Ability : Comfortable working in confined spaces and all weather conditions Location : Must live within the application area Whats in it for you?
