Legal Secretary
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join a leading Law firm based in Andover working within their Conveyancing department. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Legal Secretary Responsibilities:
1. Dealing with basic enquiries including deeds request
2. Scanning and digitally filling incoming post
3. Procuring title documents from the Land Registry
4. Applying for searches
5. Preparing contract packages
6. Obtaining and uploading information on mortgage platforms
7. Stamp duty land tax form preparation, submission and payment of tax to HMRC
8. Meeting clients
Legal Secretary Requirements:
1. Previous legal experience
2. Previous knowledge of residential conveyancing is essential
3. Strong administrative experience
4. Highly organised
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Ambitious, enthusiastic and a team player
The Legal Secretary role:
1. Negotiable salary depending on experience
2. Monday to Friday
3. Located in Andover Town Centre
