Our client who is a Lloyds Broker is looking for an Account Handler to join their commercial department in their office based in Essex. The purpose of the role is to administer commercial clients' insurance requirements daily including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations, invoicing.
Main Duties:
* Developing and maintaining positive relationships with commercial clients, colleagues and partners
* Manage client needs throughout the policy period, including responding to queries and processing adjustments.
* Maintain an efficient filing system
* Produce accurate and timely documents and obtain insurer documentation
* Collaborate with Account Executives on renewal strategies.
* Conduct market exercises to find the most competitive terms.
* Secure renewal terms and create detailed client presentations.
Essential Skills Required:
* Previous commercial insurance experience
* Strong communication skills and client relationship building abilities
* Good IT skills
* Driving License
Desirable:
* Experience as an account handler and/or Underwriter
* Strong organisation skills
