Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to introduce and implement our Counterfeit Management System to prominent fashion houses, helping them quantify and reduce the impacts of counterfeiting in China. You will use your expertise in B2B sales, brand protection, and familiarity with international markets, especially in China, to drive new business, nurture key client relationships, and ensure our clients see measurable value from their investment.
Responsibilities
* Identify, target, and engage with luxury fashion brands looking to penetrate the Chinese market, highlighting our system’s unique value in counterfeit impact measurement and mitigation.
* Forge partnerships with decision-makers to promote our solutions.
* Deliver presentations and workshops to potential clients, showcasing our technology’s capacity to quantify the positive and negative impacts of counterfeiting and the benefits of our mitigation strategies.
* Drive the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on understanding each brand's unique challenges and aligning our system to address them.
* Develop KPIs to track counterfeit management’s impact on brand integrity and market penetration, presenting quarterly or annual reports to clients.
* Gather feedback from clients and industry insights to inform product improvement, contributing to our product team’s ongoing enhancements.
Skills
* Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within brand protection, anti-counterfeit technologies, or luxury goods sectors.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
* In-depth knowledge of the Chinese market, especially in relation to counterfeiting issues in the fashion industry.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients
* Track record of driving B2B sales within international markets and developing long-term client relationships with luxury brands.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using data to assess and demonstrate the value of anti-counterfeiting measures to clients.
