We are looking to recruit Theatre Support Workers who will play an integral role at all stages of a patient’s perioperative journey.
As a Theatre Support Worker, you will be a valuable part of the Theatre team.

As communication and basic numeracy are essential for this role, you will be required to successfully pass an assessment test as part of the selection process.
You will undertake the apprenticeship qualifications at Level 2 or 3 in Clinical Healthcare (Previously known as an NVQ).
We are recruiting for full time positions covering a 12-hour day, 5-day a week, shift pattern.
Posts involve working 3 long days with 1 week in 4 working a 4-day week.
Shifts are 12 hours long (this includes an hour allocated for breaks).
Shifts start at 8:00am and finish at 9:00pm. Shifts will cover 5 days per week.
We are all employed to work across sites so this work pattern may be subject to change if working on another site.

Provide assistance in all areas relating to theatre care in accordance with departmental and Trust policies, guidelines and procedures.
Act as a team member within the theatre structure and assist with a high standard of patient care.

This role is based at St Albans Work across all WHTHT sites and areas as required.
