Overview: The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and trading of thepaintshed.com. Responsible for product catalogue, content, promotions and on-site experience, the Ecommerce Manager uses data and analysis to improve site conversion and meet revenue targets. The role: We’re looking for a FTC Ecommerce Manager to join our Ecommerce & Marketing Department to cover maternity leave. We're looking for someone who prides themselves on their hands-on attention to detail, has an analytical and data-driven approach, and who enjoys identifying and actioning commercial opportunities to drive growth. Duties include, but are not limited to: Manage all product upload activities for the website. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather all necessary data for products to go live. Manage and maintain the product catalogue, ensuring product data is accurate, enriched and optimised, both from a customer and a search perspective. Visually merchandise category pages, using commercial insights to make decisions and improve site performance. Track underperforming categories and products, highlighting and actioning improvements. Own and report weekly and monthly against site metrics and KPIs, ensuring actions can be taken each week to drive incremental conversions and maximise opportunity. Own and optimise third party tooling such as search and recommendation providers or session recording tools. Own the content and promotional calendars, working collaboratively with colleagues across marketing and commercial and ensuring clear communications and plans are shared across the business. Work with an external content creation agency on organic social content planning and the content calendar for all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) Own on-site content, assets and site refreshes; briefing in site-assets to Graphic Designer. Manage promotional, sale or clearance activity, from launch through to post-event analysis. Work collaboratively with Head of Ecommerce on website development roadmap, creating requirements, as well as testing pre-launch. Work collaboratively with Digital Marketing Manager on content and commercial opportunities. Experience required: Experience in ecommerce merchandising; managing large and complex product catalogues Experience in ecommerce trading; using insight and analysis to drive demonstrable growth Experience using Magento 2 or similar ecommerce platform (Magento 2 experience preferred) Experience creating and owning content calendars and plans, working collaboratively with internal and external teams. Commercial outlook, with strong analytical skills, as well as significant experience using Google Analytics A team-player who is self-starting, enthusiastic and hardworking, with excellent attention-to-detail, a hands-on approach and a bias for action. Fixed term contract - 15 months. Work from home. Based in Scotland with ability to travel to stores and meetings when required.
