The opportunity:
The Finance Business Partner will support the senior management team in delivering business performance through analysis, insight, and business partnering with key stakeholders. The role holder will be a key member of the budget tool project team, supporting the team in all aspects of budget tool implementation.
We are modernizing the Business Professionals' functions to improve its efficiency and effectiveness in client service delivery. The exact scope of the role is constantly expanding and changing, requiring a flexible, can-do, thinking-beyond-the-box attitude. Due to the location of the various stakeholders, some flexibility in working hours is expected in this role.

About the role:
As part of this role, the successful candidate will:
Responsibilities:
1. Proactively support Alliances, Offices, Function Leaders, Global Process Owners, Service Owners, and their respective Project Managers in delivering their financial objectives, highlighting significant variances against the plan, and working with all stakeholders to agree with compensatory measures.
2. Provide timely and accurate information on all aspects of finance to help Functions stay on track against budget and provide meaningful analysis of actual results.
3. Provide ongoing support to the Finance leaders within our Service Centres, local offices, and regional Finance leadership as required, Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
4. Take responsibility for accurate annual budget setting, quarterly forecasting, and regular monthly reporting, including actual results vs budget analysis for the assigned Alliance, Office, and PBS function as well as providing cover for the rest of the team.

Skills and Experience:
5. Relevant undergraduate degree (2:1 classification or above preferred)
6. Newly Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
7. Experience in a finance role
8. Expert knowledge of general accounting principles
9. Knowledge and experience of financial systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel skills.
10. Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to present to senior management and a personable, friendly approach are important traits.
11. Flexible, well-organized, and able to deal with various stakeholders confidently.
12. Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to understand and interpret data.
13. Demonstrable ability to develop relations across different parts of the business.
14. Willingness to learn new things and an ability and desire to drive initiatives forward.
15. Ability to work under own initiative.
