Dan y Bryn is set in beautiful landscaped surroundings in the small village of Ynysmeudwy, on the outskirts of Pontardawe. We’re known for our excellent reputation as a quality and valued care provider, where the needs of our residents are always at the heart of what we do.
What is the Role?
As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in supporting both residents and staff throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Motivating and leading the care team to provide exceptional support.
✅ Ensuring safety and well-being by following all safeguarding policies and procedures.
✅ Supervising & mentoring Care Workers to help them develop and thrive.
✅ Maintaining records and documenting any concerns accurately.
What Skills and Experience Do You Need?

✅ At least 2 years’ experience in a care worker role.
✅ NVQ/QCF Level 2 (or equivalent) and a willingness to work towards Level 3.
✅ Experience in implementing and updating care plans, risk assessments, and audits.
✅ Leadership experience, including team management, supervision, and conducting annual appraisals.
