Tasks & Responsibilities
5. Responsible for managing all sales matters related to the Area.
6. Guide, coach and instruct the Area sales team.
7. Drive and direct the sales organisation to achieve all targets set for the Area.
8. Monitor customer performance and take action to improve business where needed.
9. Be aware of competition activity and market developments that may have an impact.
10. Adhere to the principles of the Commercial Blueprint and CXS projects.
11. Participate in and support Global and Regional sales projects.
12. Review customer survey results and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction together with other relevant departments.
13. Build and maintain effective working relationships with senior customer contacts.
14. Promote the usage of new and existing products offered by Hapag-Lloyd.
15. Liaise whenever required with the sales management teams in other Areas.
16. Collaborate with the management teams in other departments to improve customer experience.
Person Specification
17. University degree or at least 5 years experience leading commercial teams, preferably in the maritime industry.
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
19. Strong analytical skills.
20. Keen ability to organise, review data accuracy, identify root causes, and develop ideas resulting in stronger business performance.
21. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
22. Good knowledge of HL’s systems and processes.
