Business Development Executive (Hardware & IoT Sales)

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the hardware and IoT sector, is looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join their team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a background in Hardware or IoT Sales, who is eager to make an impact and drive business growth.
This is a hybrid role, with the majority of time spent on the road or in client meetings, while the company’s office is based in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be supported by a full-time Lead Generator, whose primary responsibility is to book calls and meetings—allowing the Business Development Executive to focus on closing deals and securing new business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a strategic sales approach to identify and secure new business opportunities.
* Engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders to build strong, long-term relationships.
* Drive revenue growth by selling the company’s hardware and IoT solutions to new and existing clients.
* Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to deal closure, with the support of a dedicated Lead Generator.
* Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
* Attend networking events, industry conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and enhance brand presence.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in Hardware Sales or IoT Sales.
* A self-motivated, results-driven approach, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
* The ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline efficiently.
* Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development activities.
* A valid UK driving license.
