Technical Service Manager

Purpose of the Role
The Technical Service Manager position is responsible for a team of field engineers and service coordinators to ensure efficient and effective delivery of PPMs, Repairs, and urgent works to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a team of field service engineers and service coordinators, managing team performance and employee administration.
2. Oversee the planning and scheduling of service calls and preventive maintenance visits.
3. Ensure timely and efficient response to client service requests.
4. Manage any escalations from the service coordinators, resolving any complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
5. Monitor service quality and client satisfaction.
6. Provide technical support as and when required.
7. Attend site visits and carry out site audits as required.
8. Identify opportunities to improve service profitability.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
General Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the development of the Company.
2. Work in accordance with all policies and procedures of the company.
3. Commit to own personal development and attend training and/or development activities as required.
4. Work in accordance with relevant legislation.
5. Undertake any other duties as required and appropriate to the post.
Desired Skillset and Characteristics:
1. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
2. Proven experience managing a team.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Strong organisational skills.
6. Degree or equivalent experience in an industry-specific subject.
7. Field experience.
