Accounts Payable, Family Estate, 15 hrs/wk, Nr Sevenoaks, £15 p/hr temp (possibility to go perm) We're looking for an enthusiastic purchase ledger assistant to join this established mixed rural estate near Sevenoaks. You will be able to demonstrate similar experience, have meticulous attention to detail and have strong excel skills. The Company Our client is a family owned and managed mixed estate rural business covering livestock, conference facilities, events, and residential properties. The Role This is a new role in the business. Core responsibilities are:- Processing of invoices. Monitoring PO system and purchase ledger inbox, resolving and responding to queries in a timely manner. Supplier statement reconciliation Producing weekly ad hoc payment forms for processing. Producing fortnightly payment runs for review and processing. Process new supplier set up forms. Maintaining and updating the overall Supplier Contracts tracker Complete monthly creditors reconciliation reports The Candidate Demonstrable experience in a similar role is essential Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (intermediate excel) and accounting systems. Meticulous attention to detail Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative but to also be flexible in supporting the team Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment Able to communicate confidently and effectively Enthusiastic, positive and proactive with a 'can do' attitude Salary and Benefits This is a temporary contract initially on £15 p/hr. There may be the opportunity to go permanent depending on business need. 15 hrs per week, worked across 2 or 3 days per week. The role will be based on site and the successful candidate will need their own transport and valid drivers licence as the office is in a rural location. Statutory holidays and pension. Free parking.
