What you’ll be doing:
As the Product Design Director at Noli you’ll lead the charge in designing seamless and delightful user experiences. You’ll focus on data-driven iteration, rapid prototyping, and building a scalable design system. With a strong creative vision, a human-centered approach, and high execution standards, you’ll guide the design direction for multiple product pods, while also ensuring that our users learn something about themselves along the way. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, from engineering to marketing, and lead a high-performing design team to drive our ambitious goals.

Your Responsibilities:
* Leadership:

o Deliver product vision: Collaborate with product, tech, and leadership teams to shape quarterly roadmaps aligned with our strategy.
o Foster design excellence: Guide your team to create differentiated user experiences that align with business goals.
o Lean mindset: Use innovative methods to test design hypotheses before committing to long-term plans.
o Mentor and manage: Lead, coach, and support a high-performing design team.
o Manage design operations: Ensure optimal allocation of design resources across pods to meet milestones.
* Product Direction:

o Provide design oversight: Lead wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design across pods.
o Data-driven development: Use analytics to align design decisions with business goals and user behaviour.
o Rapid prototyping: Encourage a fail-fast approach to test ideas and validate concepts.
o Evolve the design system: Lead the expansion of our design system as we grow into new beauty categories and geographies.
o Big picture thinking: Drive bold, visionary ideas and innovative solutions for user pain points.

What Our Ideal Hire Looks Like:
* Location: Must be based in London — we’re in Holborn. Hybrid model with 3+ days in-office.
* Experience: 8+ years as a lead product designer or design director, with a proven track record of launching successful digital products.
* Aesthetic Sense: Strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to merge beauty with technology.
* Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing innovative, user-centric product designs.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in leading design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira, Notion, Miro, etc.).
* Analytical: Able to define insights from data and inform design decisions with analytics.
* Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
