We have an exciting opportunity for a Non-Resident Fellow to join our Oncology team at The London Clinic, located in Central London near Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations. Oncology Team Structure
The Oncology service is supported by four Resident Oncology Fellows, six Non-Resident medical staff working Monday to Friday, and additional cover from an Intensive Care Fellow and Resident Fellows for 24/7 coverage on non-oncology beds.
Job Profile
As a Non-Resident Oncology Fellow, you will support clinical and medical care for patients on the Oncology ward, outpatient chemotherapy, and radiotherapy units, including general patient care and medical procedures.
1. Job Type: Full-Time, 1 or 2-year fixed-term contract with potential for extension.
2. Hours/Shifts: 44 hours/week including 4 hours CPD, working 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, plus occasional Saturday mornings. Support for PhD or higher degree studies may be available, allowing for reduced hours.
3. Salary: £52,000 - £71,000 per annum, based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care and supervision for Oncology inpatients and outpatients, including assessments, drug chart management, and treatment planning.
* Work with consultants and nursing staff to support patient treatments and symptom management.
* Manage acute oncological conditions and participate in ward rounds and meetings.
* Respond to emergencies and be part of the oncology steering group.
Skills & Experience
* GMC registration with license to practice, MBBS or equivalent, and ACLS or intermediate life support certification.
* Completion of FY1/2 with post-qualification medical/surgical experience.
* Experience in acute medicine, high dependency, or intensive care, and confident in managing deteriorating patients.
* Ability to interpret investigations and perform routine procedures.
* Strong communication and decision-making skills, with a professional and courteous manner.
