About the role:
The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role working in this matrix structure by supporting strategic decision-making through financial insights and partnering closely with a key business function.
What you will bring to the role:
1. Serve as the primary finance contact for one of our Vice Presidents overseeing a key functional area within the business.
2. Alongside the functional leads support the forecasting, planning, and strategic processes focusing on the functional cost base; provide recommendations for efficiencies and monitor deviations from budget/forecast.
3. Provide clear, data-driven recommendations and insights to non-financial stakeholders, facilitating understanding of financial performance and decisions.
4. Assess the financial feasibility of new projects, initiatives, and investments. Construct, input, and thoroughly evaluate financial assumptions within business cases, with a focus on assessing risk, identifying opportunities and calculating payback.
5. Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, risks, and provide actionable insights.
6. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, analysing variances between actual and forecasted results.
7. Create and present regular financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
8. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, monitor expenses, and ensure resources are used effectively.
9. Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulatory standards, and corporate governance requirements.
About you:
1. Finance or business partnering experience.
2. Excellent excel skills & confident with integrated business systems.
3. Demonstrated experience of working with large data sets and providing financial insight.
4. Able to tailor communication skills to different personalities.
5. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
6. Excellent organisational skills.
7. Working within a complex multinational manufacturing company.
8. Proven problem-solving skills.
9. Business Case Development.
10. Proactive and Structured/logical approach.
