This is a great opportunity for an experienced RVN looking to utilise and expand their skills and knowledge.
About us
You would be joining a highly experienced positive and passionate team of 5 ½ vets, 11 nurses, and a client care team of 7.
We see an array of very interesting cases and are able to offer advanced services including cardiology, behaviour, laparoscopic surgery, dentistry and supportive treatments including physiotherapy and acupuncture. We really emphasise professional development and like to invest in our team by encouraging continual development in areas of special interest.
We like to keep up to date with all of the latest equipment which currently includes, ultrasound, digital radiographs, including dental radiography, an endoscope and laparoscope, in house lab and laser. We’re a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery purpose built to industry leading standards with separate cat and dog ends, allowing for separate kennels, theatres, prep and waiting areas to reduce stress to our patients.
About you and the role
This role will suit someone with some leadership experience as you’ll be part of leading a large team of nurses. Alongside the Head Nurse you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the daily schedule of procedures and appointments, and collaborating with the vet and client care teams. You must be a strong communicator as this is a key factor in the role and be confident in all areas of general practice. You’ll need to have been qualified for a minimum of 2 years for this role.
This role will be full time working for 40 hours a week with no OOH and only 1 in 5 weekends. We understand the importance of a healthy work life balance and so we can be flexible on how your shifts are worked. We welcome you to come and talk to us whatever you’re looking for!
Your weekend hours will be working 8:30am - 4:30pm on a Saturday and 10am - 4:30pm on a Sunday.
