Responsibilities:
1. Office Management:
o Ensure all offices are fully equipped, clean, and operating smoothly with supplies, equipment, and general maintenance.
o Build and manage relationships with suppliers to maintain a balance of quality and cost-efficiency.
o Oversee and support office moves, desk setups, and general office wellbeing enhancements such as plants and décor.
2. Event Coordination:
o Plan and coordinate key social events throughout the year, including company-wide parties, team-building activities, and volunteering days.
o Manage celebrations for employee milestones - birthdays, work anniversaries, and other special moments - to ensure every team member feels appreciated.
o Proactively suggest and implement new ideas to enhance the overall employee experience through fun and meaningful events.
3. Housekeeping (Cambridge Office):
o Weekly upkeep/maintenance of kitchen and office machinery.
o Daily light housekeeping duties e.g. milk replenishment, tea-towel washing, bathroom monitoring.
4. Administrative Support:
o Provide comprehensive administrative, organizational, and logistical support to the National Branch Manager.
o Keep all records, systems, and schedules updated, ensuring easy access for team members and a smooth operation.
5. Team Engagement:
o Be the main point of contact for feedback, suggestions, and inquiries from staff across the UK, ensuring the team's needs and concerns are addressed.
o Contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where colleagues feel heard and valued.
Qualifications:
1. Highly Organized and Detail-Oriented: You manage multiple tasks with efficiency, ensuring that no detail is overlooked.
2. Strong Communication Skills: You excel at both written and verbal communication, building strong relationships with team members at all levels.
3. Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable using IT systems, particularly Excel, and use them to stay organized and efficient.
4. Proactive and Solution-Focused: When challenges arise, you take initiative to resolve them with a positive and practical approach.
5. Self-Motivated: You're able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain flexible when juggling competing demands.
