Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted English and Maths intervention to Key Stage 3 students
* Create and implement tailored lesson plans to address individual learning needs
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar role
* Experience in delivering English and Maths intervention
* Knowledge of Key Stage 3 curriculum
Skills:
* Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies
* Ability to engage and motivate students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience working with diverse student populations
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, supporting students during school hours. The tutor will work closely with school staff and parents to ensure the success of the intervention programme.
