Job Title: Field Technician
Duration: Full time, Permanent
Location: Various locations across projects covering mainly throughout the south east water areas, head office is based in Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad spectrum of field-based activities:
1. Trunk and distribution main isolations
2. Asset investigation and validation
3. Operability testing
4. Reservoir outages and mains disinfections
5. All associated water quality activities such as flushing and sampling
Ideal Candidates Should Possess:
1. Minimum 3 years practical, clean water industry field experience
2. First-person lead on trunk main isolations on large diameter mains
3. Experience with District metered area validation, zonal pressure tests, valve shut-offs, and step testing
4. EUSR Water Hygiene Valve operations including CALM Networks
5. NRSWA Operative (Unit 2)
6. IT proficiency including Office365, GIS mapping tools, PDA/Tablet use, and online reporting software
7. Full, clean UK driving license
Training:
The company will conduct comprehensive mandatory training sessions to equip candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills required for the role.
Shift Pattern:
The standard working hours are 40 hours per week, covering day shifts, with occasional flexibility based on specific project needs. Additionally, once every four weeks, there will be a requirement for night shifts, spanning from Monday to Thursday (36 hours).

Salary and Package:
1. Salary: Competitive
2. Overtime: Paid at time and a half
3. Pension: 4% employer contribution
4. Holiday: 20 days plus UK bank holidays (usually 8 days) plus long service reward
5. Tools and Equipment: Company utility van with air conditioning, fuel card, and all tolls paid upfront
6. Contract mobile phone and tablet and/or toughbook
7. All uniform and any PPE required
8. Any tools and equipment deemed necessary to fulfil your role
9. Weekend Working: Optional weekend work as overtime (time and a half)
