About the Team:
The team includes experienced vets who have varied clinical interests, all sharing a passion for general practice. The nursing team is made up of skilled RVNs, Student Nurses, and Veterinary Care Assistants, many of whom are trained in schedule 3 procedures. This has earned the practice ISFM Silver Cat Friendly and RWAF Silver Rabbit Friendly practice awards. The reception team, consisting of experienced Client Care Advisors and a Practice Administrator, ensures clients receive the best care, both for their pets and through efficient service.
About the Role:
The practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon. They will consider all clinical interests and are open to applicants who are confident in routine surgeries and consultations. Full and part-time hours are available, and flexible working arrangements can be discussed. The role involves working Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 19:30, and 1 in 4 weekends.
Key role details include:
1. 20-minute slots for sick pet consultations
2. Regular catch-up slots
3. Nurse triaging for emergencies
4. Scheduled breaks during shifts
5. No double booking of consultations
6. Monthly vet dinners to discuss cases and share ideas

To Be Considered:
The ideal candidate will have:
1. MRCVS Registration (or eligibility to join)
2. Experience working in practice
