Job Description
Lead innovative engineering projects as an Engineering Project Manager, driving technological advancements and collaborating with cutting-edge technology. This pivotal role involves process optimization, subcontractor relations, team leadership, technical specifications, problem-solving, quality assurance, customer support, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with product managers to streamline production processes and ensure timely delivery.
* Manage relationships with subcontractor manufacturers and explore new partner opportunities.
* Lead a team of electronics and software engineers to ensure product quality and alignment with customer needs.
* Define specifications based on customer requests, feasibility, cost assessments, and technical limitations.
* Identify and address product limitations, risks, and challenges, working with OEMs and partners.
* Supervise the accuracy of installations and ensure the highest standards for hardware and data integration.
* Provide second-line support for complex installation issues and ensure smooth installations.
* Contribute to the development of technical manuals and training materials.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in engineering operations or technical project management.
* Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information.
* Experience with embedded systems and electronics.
* Willingness to travel and adapt to emerging technologies.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (Manchester, Hybrid)
