Position: Clinical Deputy Manager - Nursing Home

About the Role:
My client is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Deputy Manager to join a growing, well-established nursing home near Polegate. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (NMC) with experience in a care home environment, ideally someone with a background as a Deputy Manager or an experienced Clinical Lead looking to step up into a more senior leadership role.
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. You will work closely with the Home Manager to support the overall management of the home, providing leadership to the clinical and care teams. This is predominately a supernumerary role, allowing you to focus on quality assurance, training, and maintaining the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the clinical and care teams in delivering exceptional care
Ensure the home is compliant with all regulatory requirements and quality standards
Provide hands-on support, training, and mentorship to staff
Conduct assessments, care planning, and reviews for residents with complex needs
Ensure the home maintains high levels of dementia care knowledge and expertise
Collaborate closely with the Home Manager to drive performance and continuous improvement
Manage clinical audits and ensure that best practice is followed at all times
About You:
Registered Nurse with active NMC registration
Proven experience in a care home environment
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or a strong Clinical Lead looking to progress
In-depth knowledge of dementia care
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Passion for providing person-centred care and improving the quality of life for residents
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
