We are seeking a Custody Regulatory Reporting Product Manager role within Citi Securities Services' Custody business. The role will to help establish a newly formed unit responsible for the Regulatory Reporting product with Custody. The successful candidate will work very closely on every facet of the product with the new head of the Custody Regulatory Reporting and will have responsible for helping design and implement the operating model and process for production, maintenance and control of business-critical regulatory reports. This role sits in the Custody Global Product Management team Responsibilities - Contribute to the definition, design, implementation and oversight of the Custody Regulatory Reporting product - Define the scope of the Reg Reporting product function - Understanding and defining critical Business and Regulatory reporting requirements,, leveraging in-house expertise from Finance, Compliance, Risk, Control and Product amongst other groups - Working with Ops and Tech partners to design and deliver an operating model to support the production & Delivery of Custody Regulatory Reporting - Closely coordinate inputs from stakeholder groups include DDI, Financial Controllers, FP&A, Reg Reporting teams - Influence technology investment and data strategy to better support and align with the Regulatory Reporting function strategy - Define Risk and Control framework for Custody Regulatory Reporting - Ensure transparency, accountability and oversight of the Reg Reporting function including any review, sign-off processes - Design systematic control points, implement risk mitigants supporting the production of Reg Reporting - Develop preventive and detective controls to ensure accuracy of regulatory disclosures - Define data requirements and supporting data architecture - own required data clean-up effort in close alignment with Product and DDI Partners. Ensure that data related to regulatory reporting is subject to: - data quality measurement - data checks & controls - data testing - good data governance - data lineage - data ownership - Custody Metrics Management - Contribute to the definition of optimum set of KPIs for this function and implement robust systematic methods of producing and measuring these KPIs - Help define systems requirements and development needed to achieve robust and automated delivery mechanisms of reports - Lead the interpretation / understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, definition of require report structure and content and related systemic and productions requirements - Programme ownership - including tracking, reporting, issue & management - Management of a comprehensive corrective action plan which been committed to internal senior stakeholders, Legal Entity boards, and regulators Skills and Experience - Significant experience within the financial services industry with custodian, fund manager and/or large institutional broker, making major contributions to end to end change programmes with significant business and technical components - Strong Financial Services knowledge - particularly in Custody & Securities Services - Understanding of regulatory and compliance environment for Custodian Banks - Track record of significant contributions to Regulatory Reporting programmes of work - Technology and Data expertise - Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task effectively - Strong degree of personal effectiveness as well as the ability to mobilise virtual teams - Self-starter comfortable with taking accountability and working through ambiguity - Strong communication skills including to Board and Regulators What we can offer you Citi is the leading Custody bank in the industry, and this role affords the opportunity to be part of the build out of a new global function.
