Due to internal promotions, we are currently looking for CNC Machinists (Millers and Turners) to join our dynamic team at Prestwick Aerospace Park in Ayrshire.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday:
Early Shift: Monday to Thursday between 6 am – 2 pm (30-minute/15-minute breaks paid) and Friday between 6 am – 11 am (33% shift allowance)
Back Shift: Monday to Thursday between 2 pm – 10 pm (30-minute/15-minute breaks paid) and Friday between 11 am – 4 pm (33% shift allowance)
Shifts are rotating, following a training period on the day shift

Are you the right person for the job
Apprenticeship/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
Time-served Miller with minimum 3 years CNC experience
Experience of programming and operating CNC Milling machines
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Knowledge of Fanuc programming language
Self-motivated with an eye for detail and effective communication skills
Ability to hit the ground running and enjoy working within a small, skilled team
Customer Service experience is essential, along with excellent people skills
Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK
What will your role look like
Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling or turning machinery to perform both internal and external milling or turning of components as per customer drawings
Operating manual milling machinery and turning machinery
Utilising inspection equipment to ensure precise adherence to sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes
Playing a critical role in meeting customers' needs through meticulous work
