Our client is currently recruiting for a cyber security focused product line manager to further drive their consultancy services offering and enhance their market position.

The Cyber Security department was founded in 1999 and has a deep cyber security pedigree stretching back over twenty years, with an impressive established customer base located throughout the UK. This part of the business provides vendor independent managed detection and response solutions to solve the most complex problems, delivering 24/7 protection against both current and evolving cyber threats. As part of our continued and ambitious expansion plan, we are now creating a New Business Product Line Manager to expand our team.
The role will be backed up by a proven technical delivery team and marketing partners to help create opportunities from our Group’s extensive customer base as well as new name opportunities through direct lead generating marketing activities and events.
Role Responsibilities
• Responsible for delivering set sales targets for dedicated Inhouse Services and vendors.
• Effective business planning across the B2B channel to achieve Company and Vendor objectives maximising profitability.
• Develop key stakeholder relationships internally and externally to effectively deliver growth plans.
• Drive, motivate and promote services and vendor products to the Group and direct sales teams and management.
• Regular reporting to the business and vendors on the effectiveness of business plans, profit, rebate and target projections.
• Engage and manage promotional and marketing activities with third party agencies.
• Manage all marketing communications and brand awareness for the business unit including internal, customer and prospect (email, direct mail, social, sponsorship and exhibitions).
• Designing and implementing lead generation campaigns in conjunction with our third-party agencies.
• Work with several 3rd party suppliers including print, event and design to deliver sales support material and activities.
• Build strong relationships with the sales and technical teams and ensure they are fully up to date, trained and supported to enable them to promote the services and products.
• Work closely with our digital agencies to assist in the development and content for our websites and social media platforms.
• Execute and achieve targets in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Provide accurate information and additional support to sales in areas which are forecasting below budget.
• Ability to create interesting and thought-provoking product information.
• Deliver successful promotions, incentives and services and product launches across the business.
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders including commercial, marketing and purchasing to ensure maximum sales activity is achieved and stock levels remain optimal and communications between the departments are effective.
• Liaise with Sales Managers to ensure product offering remains competitive and relevant to their needs, reporting on a monthly basis.
• Business development by identifying cross and up-selling opportunities.
• Demonstrate and maintain expert product knowledge, keeping up to date with new technologies and market developments.
• Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the Company core values.
• You will be proficient in the use of IT with a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook.
